What is the Payment Advises Requirement?

The Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 requires debtors to file all paycheck stubs for the sixty (60) days immediately preceding the filing of the petition, or some other proof of income from employer.

The debtor will also have to provide Income Tax Returns, Mortgage Statements, Titles to Vehicles and any other documentation requested by the Bankruptcy Trustee assigned to the Case. For a complete list of the Debtor's Duties under the Bankruptcy code see 11 USC 521.
